Nevada state authorities seized records and computers Tuesday from the Las Vegas office of an organization that tries to get low-income people registered to vote, after fielding complaints of voter fraud.
"Some of them used nonexistent names, some of them used false addresses and some of them were duplicates of previously filed applications," Walsh said, describing the complaints, which largely came from the registrar in Clark County, Nev.
Secretary of State Ross Miller said the fraudulent registrations included forms for the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys football team.
"Tony Romo is not registered to vote in the state of Nevada, and anybody trying to pose as Terrell Owens won't be able to cast a ballot on Nov. 4," Miller said.
Walsh said agents from both the secretary of state's office and Nevada attorney general's office conducted the raid at 9:30 a.m. local time, and "took a bunch of stuff." Miller's office reported seizing eight computer hard drives and about 20 boxes of documents.

The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights indeed determined that, in Florida in 2000, 54 percent of the ballots discarded as "spoiled" were cast by African Americans, who were only 11 percent of the voters, just as you say. They also named the venues where this happened and 100% of them were Democrat strongholds and that vast pile of spoiled ballots had a ridiculously low portion of Democrat votes. Lets visit the scene. We're in a Democrat district run by a small board elected by the heavily Democrat population. Who's the Elections Judge? Almost certainly a democrat as are the majority of the board. They live in that district and their neighbors chose them for the job. They know the registration of everyone coming in to vote and poke an extra hole in the ballots of "traitor" blacks who vote for Bush. Supporting this hypothesis, the spoils were almost all "over votes," ballots that had Bush AND Gore selected. You know what? That almost never ever happens. People far more often just leave them blank. No one votes for both. Florida Democrats would have us believe that tens of thousands of Gore voters voted an almost straight Republican ticket, plus Gore, then had the "Bush" chad punched out by the evil Democrat "turncoat" in their district who was stealing votes for Bush.
The bottom line of the CCR report was that they found no evidence of impropriety by Republicans, and they felt that proved impropriety by Republicans. They reasoned there must have been a cover-up or they would have found SOMETHING, but everything they found was tied to Democrats. Their obvious conclusion was this was an impressively devious Republican plot.

Barack Obama seems to attract and/or be attracted to highly questionable people and organizations. It's not like he has a third cousin who lives in Malaysia and got a ticket for speeding. Do his supporters really think he's going to look out for them if he's elected? Blacks, in particular, should take note. When was the last time he mentioned the African-American community? He's going after white, middle-class voters. He's got black voters in the bag, or so he thinks. Let's face it, most African-Americans don't think they have a lot in common with middle-class whites and vice versa. Obama can try all day to link their circumstances and say they share each others' pain, but many of them think the other group is the CAUSE of their pain. I don't blame lower-income people for MY pain, for the big chunk of equity I lost in my house because too many of them got mortgage loans they couldn't pay. I blame Barney Frank, Mel Watt, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, among others. I don't blame a guy who just wanted to own a home, a guy who was sold a bill of goods by a self-serving mortgage broker who wanted to put money in his own pocket. Now that guy has lost his home and will never own another one. If you have a mortgage default on your record, you'll be lucky to get a car loan, much less another mortgage.

And the public has a short memory, for sure. It's a matter of record, if anyone wants to take the time to look it up...nothing racial about it. The problem is that if certain groups can't think of anything else to complain about, they play the racial card 'cause it gets the media's attention. Who'd care if someone yelled "Avon lady"! Or how about "high school graduate"? You might get a few raised eyebrows from someone yelling "NRA member"! Racism has played a large part in this country, especially in the 60's (for those of us who were actually there and remember it first hand). So I think certain groups would like to keep that sore open, instead of allowing it to continue the slow healing it would have if just left alone. There's been too much going on lately by certain groups who are pitting one group against the other, and it needs to stop. Lately it's the poor against the rich...nothing really new, but it's been revived this year in the form of new taxes. Make the rich pay for everything. Like that's gonna work. The rich didn't get there by being stupid. And the poor have the same opportunities that some of the rich had. Pitting one group against the other is all wasted energy. What ever happened to working together, through and past our differences, and seeking common ground in order to get the job done? I do that with Habitat for Humanity. We are a diverse group, but with a common goal. We are a small community, but we build one house per year for a family that would never be able to afford a conventional loan. We give them the opportunity to work on their home alongside of us. And they pay Habitat back, with a no interest payment, so that it's affordable. We don't care if these people are black, brown or orange. We work alongside of them, as well as work with each other. Why can't all organizations and peoples work this way? I'll tell you why...it's because certain groups or individuals want all the glory for what they're doing. And they want all the prestige that goes with it (money, etc.). They'll make statements that continue the separation, like "look what we're doing for (fill in the blank with a select group or color)...." Why is there a United ***** College Fund and not a United People College Fund? It's things like that that keep the separation going. Why can't there be groups that work for everyone, equally? No I don't condone voter fraud, no matter which group does it. I'm sure it's been done by all, not just Democrats. This all could be so simple if all the candidates would just submit their proposals, how they'd fund them, and allow us to choose whom we think would best get the job done. Growing up in the rural south playing with black and white kids alike, we had no idea that we were supposed to hate each other until those dang northern people came down and started telling us we did, and their news people started reporting it! Heck, we looked at each other and said, "hey y'all know we're all "racists"?
That word described both the blacks and the whites! Cause when the northern white, rich people came down and told us all that a lot of the colored people became as uppity as those folks and packed right up to follow them north.
Though, they didn't stay up north long! They found out that those fancy white rich punks were only feedin' them a pack of lies just to get their votes in the first place! Things were a lot worse for the colored folks up north than they were in the south. Those people up there were really racists! The coloreds and the whites had always lived together in the south and they knew how to get along. It was only when those northerners came down that the troubles started.
The above is a "ditty" of what did happen in the South in the 1960's! I know because I lived it! It wasn't called ACORN but the bunch of young, white and black Democrats that they sent down to stir up trouble then, and falsify voting registrations is the same as their doing today.
