Should MLB and the NBA update its shilliouete logos any time soon? (if not next year?)?

Seeing the fact that the National Hockey League and the National Football League have both updated their respective shield logos in the past 3 years (including this year), I have wondered:

Should BOTH Major League Baseball and the National Basketball Association update its respective shilliouete logos any time soon? (if not by next year?)Should MLB and the NBA update its shilliouete logos any time soon? (if not next year?)?
they don't need to. they both look good and are very recognizable. the NFL update was not a complete change and to change the MLB logo it would have to be big because there is not much you can do with it. that is the same for the NBA.
What's wrong with them now. Firstly, Jerry West is represented on the NBA logo and that's pretty cool. Secondly, MLB doesn't need a change. They've got bigger fish to fry with the whole steroids and HGH mess going around.Should MLB and the NBA update its shilliouete logos any time soon? (if not next year?)?
Can't get rid of Mr. Logo, Mr. Clutch, Mr. West. Their logo is great.

Baseball's logo is pretty much the logo that all others try to be like. I can't see how they can improve on it.
The NBA should definitely not change it because Jerry West's sillouette is a great symbol. I don't think the MLB should change it either because it still looks good.Should MLB and the NBA update its shilliouete logos any time soon? (if not next year?)?
Show us "your silhouette" and take your chances. Why can't we get past silly questions like this on Yahoo Baseball Answers? What does this question have to do with baseball?
I don't think you can do any better with those shilliouete logos.
They'll do it a$ $oon a$ there'$ money to be made from it. Then they'll call the old one$ retro, and $ell them again in five year$.
No. If it aint broke, dont try and fix it.
Jerry West is the NBA logo----sacrosanct !!!! never change it !!!!!!!

MLB- yeah, let's change it.
No, neither of them should.
