Why does America always get involved in other countries issues?

Im from UK and as im aware our Football Association has been around longer than America has. Also we formed America. So why do they feel they are Number 1 in the world?|||Good question, and as an american I agree with you, we need to keep our damn nose to ourselves more, but sadly the Bush regime doesn't give a rat's *** what I think.





I don't think we should close our borders and shut ourselves off to the world, but I think that we get involved in policing the rest of the world with our morals and opinions and judgements, and that's just not right. Who are we to throw our weight around anywhere but our own country unless the involvement is of direct and immeadiate consequence to safety of our country. I can't even say we should get involved in policing worldwide human rights concerns anymore, as we have clearly been pretty damn guilty of closing our eyes to that when it suits us (we/us in a governmental sense).





America is a great place, and that's why I live here - but its Our way of life and Our views, and not everyone wants that.|||Because we are. And we get involved in other peoples issues because we are asked to. Just like WWII, when we came to the aid of England. And, several other countries. We are the first ones called on when there is trouble. If the rest of the world is un-happy with us, fine, next time they get in a jam, they can call France, Germany, Russia or China. Next time one of these third world hell holes get in trouble, I hope we don't help them. Let them rot in their corruption. I am one American who is sick of ingrates.|||Getting into a litle bit of history should help.





The USA is a nation of descendants of cowboys, plunderers and slave traders.


These kind of guys are by instinct involved in looting and plundering wealth and lands of helpless people and also gaming upon the lives of those whom they do not identify with.


The genocide of Red Indians and the exploitation and wanton murder of Africans not too long ago in human history are testimonies of these traits - reflected again in the present day rulers and some people of USA.


One should'nt forget that by dropping nukes over Hiroshima and Nagasaki the USA earned for itself the dubious distinction of 1. committing the the world's first terrorist attack and 2. being the only nation to have used nukes in a war.





Feeling Number 1 is that cowboyish trait re-presenting itself.





By the way 'America' is much more than mere 'USA'. The rest of the American people peaceloving and even victims of the USA|||You didn't form America. Yeah some of your oppressed people came here to escape your persecutions but people from all over the world have built this country to be what it is. THE GREATEST NATION ON EARTH!|||they fell they r num.1 %26amp; no body tries to say something else|||because we are. And i don't believe you formed america.. America was already here.. people just came over here for various freedoms they were unable to have over there..
