What used to be merely annoying, is now a blow to the business interests of club owners and the careers of the managers.|||The referees arn't any worse.





I think, because the rules of the game have changed so much to protect footballers, that it just makes there job a little harder.|||Lets see.

oh well.|||The level is about the same as it was in the 80's. We had a good run in the late 90's and early 00's but the level has slipped since then.


With the advances in training tools and increase in pay to the refs the standard should be better than it is.|||Our refs are consistent, consistently useless. But if one of them chooses to give us an unjustified penalty, were going to take it.|||Different times . You cannot judge today's referees who are under intense scrutiny with the advancement of technology .In the Old Days I guess many of them would have been found out too with today's techniques|||thay aint any worse.tv is saturated with football so it highlights their mistakes even more
